Cardi B doesn’t want an invasion of privacy for her fourth child.
While the “I Like It” rapper welcomed a baby boy with boyfriend Stefon Diggs in November, the couple has yet to confirm the infant’s name, leaving many fans—and Cardi herself—to joke about what the moniker could possibly be.
Cardi—also mom to kids Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 16 months, with ex Offset—hinted that their son could have a football-themed name when fans asked about photos of the baby. As the 33-year-old wrote on X Jan. 25, “I’ll show yall touchdown soon.”
Another fan went a step further in joking that the baby could be named after Stefon’s NFL team, writing on X, “Can’t wait to see little Patriotavious,” to which Cardi responded, “ENOUGH!”
Still, one person was positive they knew the baby’s name, writing on X Jan. 27, “Touchdown’s name is Grayson.”
But the “Please Me” singer quickly shut that down, replying, “It’s not.”
Cardi and Stefon—who first sparked romance rumors in February of 2025—might not be forthcoming about details of their baby, but they have shared glimpses into their romance in other ways, including when she showed her support on the field as Stefon and the New England Patriots beat the Denver Broncos to secure their spot in the Feb. 8 Super Bowl.
And Cardi is particularly thrilled for her better half as he plays in the big game.
“I’m feeling very excited, very happy for him very proud of him,” she told the NFL network Jan. 25. “You know, he just came back from an ACL and me seeing the progress and the process of him, from the first time he started running back, and now joining the Patriots and actually going to the Super Bowl, I’m very excited for him. Very excited for the whole team, they been working they butts out.”
The Grammy winner has also been celebrating her own accomplishments, writing on Instagram in November around the time of her baby’s birth, “I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world.”

“One more reason to be the best version of me,” she continued, “one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve.”
Stefon shared his own excitement, writing in the comments, “Proud of you boo butt !!!! Love you.”

The Beginning of Their Romance
While fans already knew Cardi B likes those Balenciagas (the ones that look like socks), they began wondering if she also liked Stefon Diggs in October 2024. The rapper and the New England Patriots wide receiver then fueled dating speculation after they were photographed together on Valentine’s Day 2025.
Though Cardi hasn’t revealed the exact Xs and Os of how she met Stefon, it was more or less her thinking, “Oh he’s so handsome, what’s his name?”
“I thought he was cute,” she said on a September 2025 episode of Today, noting they connected through mutual friends. “I was like, ‘Oh, he gotta be mine.'”

Confirming Their Relationship
Later that month, Cardi and Stefon confirmed they’re a couple while attending an NBA Playoff game between the Celtics and the Knicks in New York.
“It’s tough hiding. It’s tough dating in your 30s, too, but I like him. I love him, today,” the “Bodak Yellow” artist told Billboard in September 2025. “I was always scared of dating people [because] I’ve always been in a long relationship since I was like 21.”
